C0007363Pre-tech: Culinary Arts/hospitality
Open to: Grades: 12 (with Permission), 11, 10, 9 (with Permission) Credits: 4 Credits Terms: Semester This course will explore core values and competencies of the hospitality and culinary occupations. Students are introduced to all aspects of the hospitality and culinary fields including occupational safety, sanitation, terminology, communications, team work, environmental considerations and operating a business. Students will gain competence in basic equipment operation, knife skills, food preparation, cooking and line skills as well as introductory baking. Required:Career Center Application
