C0007152Pre-tech Machining
Open to: Grades: 12 (with Permission), 11, 10, 9 (with Permission) Credits: 4 Credits Terms: Semester This course is an introductory class that will allow students to explore fundamental machine tool operations, equipment, software, materials, and tools with a hands-on project-based learning approach. Computer Numerical Control (CNC) programming is introduced and students will have an opportunity to apply math concepts and theories to practical projects made in the shop. Computer Assisted Machining (CAM) technologies are integrated via a 14 station computer lab connected to the machine shop area. Required:Career Center Application
