Machine Design, Drafting, & Manufacturing I

Building on the skills introduced in C0007152; Pre-Tech Machining and C0007610; Pre-Tech Intro to Architecture , students will utilize CADD and CAM software to design, tolerance, dimension and manufacture mechanical components.

The practical application of real world design concepts will be stressed between the design and manufacturing laboratories. Emphasis is placed on learning how design requirements and manufacturing processes relate to a detailed drafting engineering drawing and the manufacture of high quality components.
