C0007000Technical And Career Foundations
Open to: Grades: 10, 9 Credits: 4 Credits Terms: Semester Freshmen are encouraged to schedule this course as a basic career awareness opportunity. This course utilizes an active, project-based, "hands-on" approach designed to actively engage students in applied technology and the exploration of careers. Students will work on developing their problem solving skills, oral and written communication, research techniques, team work and managing safety at school and work. Students gain direct knowledge of the career clusters represented in the Career Center. Students receive feedback on their natural interests, abilities and aptitudes in relation to broad clusters of career areas.
