Linda Alvarez

Linda Alvarez brings a unique blend of academic achievements and business experience to her role as a Business Instructor at the Windham Regional Career Center. I’m committed to lifelong learning with a BA in History from the University of Florida and an MBA in Management, Marketing, and Communications from Fitchburg State University. Recognized as the 2022 Remarkable Woman for Entrepreneurship by the Brattleboro Community and The Reformer. She’s owned and operated two successful restaurants, including Best Cafe’ in Florida by Florida Trend in 2000. Linda contributed to the community as a founding member of Windham Grows Food Small Business Accelerator, the Windham County Restaurant Apprentishment Program, and through 18 years of teaching at high and middle school levels. In 2024, Linda was recognized as a Vermont Outstanding Educator. Linda is excited to draw on these experiences to inspire future business leaders at the WRCC.
